Result: Together with TV 2 Sports, as well as teachers and students from DMJX, I developed and implemented cross media a strategy. Through the strategy we managed to use Facebook and Twitter to create awareness and generate further traffic to giro.tv2.dk. Furthermore, we raised the number of likes on the TV 2 Sport Facebook page substantially. We developed and tested a (full) concept for monitoring global use of Facebook and Twitter in relation to Giro d'Italia. We developed and tested a full concept for targeted production for Facebook and Twitter during a major multi-day sporting event, including insights into and testing of software which supported the process. Last but not least we developed a number of generic key roles and functions which support production for social media.
