Result: Together with teachers from the Danish School of Media and Journalism, I organized what was described as Denmark's biggest Twitter experiment ever. 20 students recruited more than 150 volunteer stringers. Each student was responsible for a team of stringers, which through a combination of Twitter and Flickr served as "sensors" and thus an (extra) source of richer and more detailed information and conversation about the European Under-21 Football Championship. We developed and implemented a social media "war room" making it possible to monitor, intercept and produce stories based on the use of social media. Last but not least, we developed and implemented a workflow, which made it possible to publish to the websites of Aarhus Stiftstidende and TV 2 Sports respectively.
